About the Principal

Nicholas M. Ramones, PE is the founder and principal engineer of Ramones Engineering PLLC. Licensed as a Professional Engineer in Texas (PE #117112), Nick has been practicing civil engineering in Texas since 2003.

Nick began his career at Denham-Ramones Engineering & Associates, where he worked for nearly 13 years, from field intern through Project Engineer, focused on high-volume residential land development for Texas production homebuilders. That work included platting, subdivision design, drainage, detention, and FEMA CLOMR/LOMR submittals across the San Antonio region.

He then joined Bain Medina Bain, Inc., where he spent over three years leading large-scale public infrastructure projects including the SAWS Vista Ridge regional water pipeline, City of San Antonio bond projects, Alamo Colleges campus expansions, and San Antonio International Airport runway rehabilitation.

Nick founded Ramones Engineering PLLC in 2020 to combine these two foundations: production-scale residential experience and public infrastructure depth, into a site development practice that serves commercial developers, architects, homebuilders, and landowners across Texas. The firm also maintains a specialty infrastructure practice supporting pump contractors and trenchless rehabilitation contractors on municipal sewer projects.

Nick holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at San Antonio. He has worked extensively with SAWS, TxDOT, the City of San Antonio, Bexar County, and municipalities across Texas.
